What it means

We recreate the natural tooth, without dentures

Oral implantology recreates the natural dentition by placing a titanium fixture in the jaw, which can then restore 95% of the qualities and functions of a natural tooth.

In modern implantology there is no risk of immune rejection, and titanium implants have a very long lifespan.

Step by step

The stages of treatment

  1. 01/04

    Consultation and CT scan

We assess eligibility, bone volume and the treatment plan.

  2. 02/04

    Implant placement

A titanium fixture is placed in the bone — usually a procedure of under 30 minutes.

  3. 03/04

    Osseointegration

The implant heals and integrates with the bone, becoming a stable root.

  4. 04/04

    The prosthetic restoration

We fit the final restoration — a crown or a bridge.

Worth remembering

Good to know

  • Placing an implant should not take longer than 30 minutes.

  • The procedure is done under anaesthesia and, performed correctly, should not hurt.

  • Extracting a molar is often harder to bear than having an implant placed.

  • Titanium implants carry no risk of immune rejection.

  • Long lifespan — over 25–30 years after placement.

  • Keeping the implant and its crowns intact depends on hygiene and regular check-ups.

What patients ask most often

Didn't find your answer? Call us at0767 919 714or request an assessment.

Does placing a dental implant hurt?

The procedure is performed under anaesthesia and, done correctly, should not hurt. Extracting a molar is often harder to bear than having an implant placed.

How long until the final restoration?

After the implant is placed we wait for osseointegration (healing into the bone), then the final prosthetic restoration is fitted. The interval depends on the case and is set at the consultation.

How long does an implant last?

Titanium implants have a long lifespan, often functioning for more than 25–30 years. How long an implant lasts depends on hygiene and regular check-ups.

Am I eligible for a dental implant?

Eligibility is established at the consultation and, where needed, on the basis of a CT scan, depending on bone volume and general health.

Can all my teeth be replaced with implants?

Yes — from a single implant to full-mouth rehabilitation on 4, 6 or 8 implants. See the “Fixed teeth in 24 hours” page.
