Using a combination of oxygen and nitrous oxide, the device delivers a non-toxic, colourless gas, carefully dosed to keep you comfortable for the whole duration of the procedure.

Does inhalation sedation put you to sleep?
No. Inhalation sedation does not cause drowsiness; the patient’s consciousness and reflexes remain unaltered.
Is it safe?
The gas is non-toxic and colourless, and carefully dosed. Nitrous oxide is not metabolised in the liver; it is eliminated rapidly through the lungs.
Can I drive after the treatment?
No — driving is not allowed for 24 hours after inhalation sedation.
Who is inhalation sedation not recommended for?
Children under 3; pregnant women in the first and third trimester; patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, nasal obstruction, otitis or sinusitis; with megaloblastic anaemia or cor pulmonale; with hepatitis B or C, tuberculosis or autoimmune disease; after recent eye surgery or intestinal obstruction; with a history of substance abuse; or claustrophobic patients.
